Feel free to post or forward.
Health: Pretty good. Feeling my osteoporosis more. But still subbing 3-5 days a week.
Sorry this is late. Life has been complicated.
You will recall I discovered the AC in my Kia Soul didn’t work. Got that fixed, then--I Took the KIA Soul I bought in November in because the read defogger wasn’t working. (This after I had to get the AC fixed) Told me I need a new floor harness, brake pads, a battery, etc. $5600 in total. Metro Kia of Madison. We will see how much is covered by warranty. Let the buyer beware. They are keeping it until the warranty company can inspect it. After a long fight, and spending hours calling rental companies, they gave me a loaner.
Decided the Kia was a 레몬. (Lemon in Korean.) Traded it back to them, at the trade value, and bought a 2015 CR-V. It has push-button start, heated seats, and a CD player, plus fewer miles that the Soul. Took a large haircut of course. And found out the one thing I didn’t think to ask—it only had one key! You just can’t assume anything normal with Metro Kia!
Ben Franklin tells the story of how the Iroquois were offered a college education for some of their young men: They responded to a further offer: “…when they came back to us, they were bad runners; ignorant of every means of living in the woods; unable to bear either cold or hunger; know neither how to build a cabin, take a deer, or kill an enemy; spoke our language imperfectly; were therefore neither fit for hunters, warriors, or counsellors; they were total good for nothing.” They offered to take young men of the Americans and educate them…” and make men of them.” One wonders what they would think of universities today. From Great Speeches of Native Americans

In response to Dawkins' claim that, "Religion is a fairy tale for people afraid of the dark," "Atheism is a fairy tale for people afraid of the light." (see John 3:19f) ~ Rev. Alison
Those protesters for Hamas should volunteer to live a year in Gaza under Hamas rule. They would kill them and blame Israel. And the media would say it was true. I hope they accept the offer of free scholarships in Iran. It would be eye-opening for the young women.

Biden promote debt forgiveness for women who got breast implants and want to pursue their career debt free. "Boobs for Biden", or "Biden for Boobs", or maybe "Biden means Boobs", "Think Boobs, think Biden", or "Biden = Boobs.” Maybe I missed my calling as a campaign manager. ~ Mark
If activists are successful in abolishing the filibuster, they will live to regret it.

"It is error alone which needs the support of government. Truth can stand by itself. Subject opinion to coercion: whom will you make your inquisitors?" ~ Thomas Jefferson
One of the schools I sub in needed a guidance counselor for two days. I supposed just telling kids to join the Marines wouldn’t cut it.
The President of the US apologized to an illegal immigrant murder for calling him an illegal. We are doomed.
"The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant: It's just that they know so much that isn't so." ~ Ronald Reagan
Government websites are so bloated and hard to use because the bureaucrats don’t know what they want and it’s not their money they are spending, so they say, “Put in everything you think we need.” The web designers are happy to do so. Thus the sites always become, “User hostile.”
I’m so far over the hill, I can’t see it anymore.
“Biden just put $6 billion of student debt from 78,000 public employees on the shoulders of taxpayers. Lay of the 78,000 public employees and we’ll call it even.” ~ National Review

Some of the teachers I sub with asked for signed copies of “Quotes.”
